Google and YouTube information used

With the channel owner's permission, the application accesses the authorized channel ID and title, video upload and visibility status, published video metadata and captions. The requested Google OAuth scope youtube.force-ssl has broad channel management powers, potentially including editing and deletion. This publishing workflow does not automatically delete existing content.

Purposes

The application identifies the authorized channel, uploads owner-approved original audio or video and captions, checks final publication status, prevents duplicate publication, and records quality audit results. It does not sell Google user data or use YouTube data to target advertising.

Local storage and third parties

OAuth refresh tokens and local production records are stored on the owner's Ubuntu server with restrictive file permissions. Authorized authentication requests and publication data go to Google and YouTube. Finished videos and captions are provided to YouTube only when release checks pass.

Retention, revocation and deletion

Credentials are retained while authorized and needed for this application. The channel owner may revoke access using Google Account connections and may contact us to request removal of locally stored credentials or associated YouTube account data. We verify channel ownership before disclosing or deleting account-related records. Some audit records may be retained where necessary for legal or security purposes.

Data sharing

We do not sell or share private YouTube account data with advertisers or data brokers. Google processes the authorized API calls under its own Privacy Policy and the YouTube Terms.
